The //ROGUE Series is an Enterprise Level Storage Appliance
Based on the Latest PCIe 4.0 Architecture
Today, most creatives are using a combination of local and cloud storage to collaborate with their team. Over the course of a production, multiple copies of source media, proxies, renders, and project files end up spread across devices creating version chaos. As the project comes to a close, editors scramble to consolidate the production data and figure out which of the many versions of a file is the right one.
The small, but mighty //ROGUE packs the full performance of an enterprise storage server into a portable desktop form factor. creative.space's next-generation architecture makes the //ROGUE powerful enough to handle Hollywood-level video workflows with up to 1 GB/s of aggregate throughout. Two built-in 10GbE and two 1GbE ports support up to 4 connected users with the ability to add even more with a switch.
We sent Damian Allen VFX Guru and Pixerati LLC CEO, a //ROGUE unit to play around with for a couple weeks and provide his honest feedback. Read his review for a first-hand experience with the //ROGUE.
We’ve created a central hub for your data to make it easier for you and your team to navigate, collaborate, and participate in the creative process. The goal of creative.space’s content management software is to make everyday tasks quick and intuitive so that you can spend less time juggling drives and more time focusing on being creative.
Divide your storage into shared Spaces to collaborate in.

Yes. The //ROGUE is the only unit that we sell. All other systems are offered as a service-based contract at an affordable monthly or annual rate.
We are including a full year of support free with each //ROGUE system, which includes proactive support (via alarms), 9-5 weekday phone support, e-mail, software upgrades, and advanced parts replacements.
Yes. All of the software we install on our O.P.M.S. systems is included with the //ROGUE. During the included year of support, we will also provide updates to both front-end and back-end software.
No problem. You keep your system as is.
If you want reactive support or updates in the future, you can get phone support for $150/hr. On-site visits are $1500/day plus travel costs.
If you need replacement drives, just let us know.
Yes! We auto-mount USB devices that are connected to the //ROGUE and present them under the "Ingest" tab on the Spaces page of the web app. From there, you can use the compare and copy tool to ingest files to your spaces.
Two scenarios this functionality can be helpful for...
1. Offloading Camera Media: You can connect a card reader for your camera media and offload directly into the //ROGUE. You don't have to worry about reformatting the card. Keep shooting and use the built-in conflict resolution options to bring in only the new files.
2. Syncing Editor Drives: Connect an external drive to the //ROGUE to copy project files and folders. The editors can go work on their drives, updating their project files and adding additional assets as needed. When you need to update your //ROGUE with each editor's new work, just point the Copy and Sync tool to the project folders on each device and use the conflict resolution options to push, pull, or sync them. No more manual investigation to see what's new.
The //ROGUE is designed as an online storage appliance. It is recommended that you always backup your valuable data to a secondary storage tier to prevent loss.
We provide RAID options, which protect against data loss in varying drive failure scenarios.
Another feature that can protect from data loss is Snapshots. When a Snapshot is taken of one of your Spaces, a read-only copy is instantly created that doesn't take up any additional space. The Snapshot grows in size as you orphan files and/or blocks in the Space through deletion or revision.
Yes, but with a few caveats. The //ROGUE is an enterprise shared storage system that is accessible over whatever networking you set up for it. While you can provide access via a public IP address, we recommend setting up a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The main concern is the limited speed of the internet connectivity. All of our systems come with an integrated ZeroTier VPN for secure remote connection.
Any application that can access SMB or NFS mounts should work out of the box. We have tested and optimized for Adobe Premiere and After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and more.
The only caveat is that Avid Media Composer requires you to use the Ultimate version for Bin Locking and MIMIQ, an additional per-seat 3rd party license, to unlock SMB support. Licenses for MIMIQ are available for $250 a seat with volume discounts available.
